Robins Galore

I looked out the sunroom window last night and was surprised to see about thirty Robins scratching around the grassy area that roomy had shoveled for the puppies to do their business. I felt sorry for them and immediately ran out to throw around some bird seed. Of course when I did that they all flew away and didn't return! The resident Mourning Doves though did stay and fill up. I wasn't sure if they were the adults or last years babies but was glad someone enjoyed my meager effort.

Also, last night I saw the Easter Cadbury commercial for the first time, bawk bawk... That commercial gets me every time.

Spent the evening trying to start a knitting project for my co-worker Donna. I want to make her some fingerless gloves but the pattern wasn't working for me. Gonna have to look one up. I was suppose to go to Stitch N' Bitch last night but I begged out. I've not been in the best mood since roomy and I have been at odds with each other. Also, I'm not comfortable driving at night and with the chance that there could be icy patches, I really wig out. I've been seriously thinking about retiring south in warmer climates. (Of course at the rate I'm going that won't be for at least another twenty years!!) I'm so afraid of falling also since I fell like three weeks ago on the ice and crashed down on my knee. Damn thing still hurts, not good. When it warms up I want to start hiking. I'm gonna recruit my neice to show me the trails around Caledonia. I seriously need to lose weight. My self esteem is taking a beating and I know that I'm the only one to do something about it.
